Russia has always respected the sovereign choice of any nation to organise its political life and make all sorts of unions, both military and economic, and we will continue to do so. However, we hope that this will not be detrimental to other participants in international communication, and not at our cost. As you may know, Ukraine is deeply integrated into the CIS economic space. Alongside Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, it is actually an inseparable part of the largest economic complex in the world, which took ages, rather than years or decades, to create – and this is no exaggeration.



Our countries’ companies have developed close ties in all the basic industries: in the fuel and energy sector, which includes nuclear power, in chemical production, in aviation and machine building, space, metallurgy and metals processing, in construction and agriculture. We have developed unique production chains and created technological alliances. Russian capital represents about 32 percent of the Ukrainian banking system.



The Customs Union states are Ukraine’s key foreign trade partners. In 2013, mutual trade turnover came up to $50 billion. This is comparable to what is going on the western track. In the first six months of 2014, our trade turnover reached $22.7 billion. The Customs Union accounts for 30 percent of Ukraine’s exports. We have to openly state that the Russian market takes up most of this volume.



We have developed a good legal basis for our cooperation. In 2011, a free trade zone agreement was signed within the CIS framework. I would like to stress here that Ukraine took a very active stance in this respect. It actually insisted on signing this agreement.

According to Sergei Druzin, head of research and development at Almaz-Antey, the enhanced version represents a “unique air defense system in its class with an astounding precision and range.”



The Tor system is a low- to medium-altitude, short-range surface-to-air missile system designed for intercepting aircraft, cruise missiles, precision-guided munitions, unmanned aerial vehicles and ballistic targets.



Tor-M1K and Tor-M2U variants, armed with 9M331 missiles, are currently in service with the Russian army. The new system, equipped with new 9M338 missiles, was successfully tested at the end of October 2013. “We carried out five launches targeting highly maneuverable drones. Three of the targets were hit head-on, while the other two were destroyed by shrapnel from exploding warheads. It is an excellent result, astounding precision,” Druzin said.



In addition, the smaller size of the 9M338 compared with its predecessor has allowed the carrying capacity of the launcher to be doubled, from eight to 16 missiles. The official said the improved Tor-M2 systems and 9M338 missiles have been approved by a state commission for mass production. “We can now start producing these missiles in quantities that would meet the demand of the Russian army,” Druzin said. The Tor M2E missile system has also been exported to Azerbaijan, Belarus, Ukraine, China, Venezuela and Iran. Earlier versions (M1) were also exported to Greece, Cyprus and Egypt.



According to Druzin, the next step in the improvement of the system would be for launching missiles at acquired targets while on the move. “The [mobile] launcher currently stops for two or three seconds to launch a missile, but it could be done on a move, without stopping,” Druzin said.



The export version known as TOR M2E is also armed with the 9M331 interceptor, is designed as a short range air defense system, capable of intercepting air breathing and maneuvering targets at ranges of 1-12 km and altitudes from ground level (10 meters) to 10 km. Cruise missiles and drones could be killed at ranges of 1.5 km to 7 km maximum with precision guided weapons intercepted at a minimum distance of 50 meters and maximum range of six kilometers. Maximum target speed is 700 m/sec (2,520 km/h). A Tor M2E can engage four targets simultaneously, having up to eight missiles airborne. (four actively guided).



The export variants are also expected to be offered with the new interceptor.

Adopted in 1986 and replaced the previous versions, BTR-60 and BTR-70 in the Soviet Army.[2]

The Soviets based the BTR-80 on the BTR-70 APC. It has a single 260-hp, V-8 turbocharged, water-cooled, diesel engine, an improvement over the twin gasoline engines installed in the BTR-60 and BTR-70 vehicles. The reconfigured rear portion of the hull accommodates a new, single engine. The Soviets removed the roof chamfers of the modified BTR-70, raised the rear, and squared off the rearward-sloping engine compartment. Standard equipment include TNPO vision blocks, optical devices TNP-B and TKN-3 for the driver and commander, an OU-3GA2M infra-red search light, six 81 mm smoke grenade launchers 902V "Tucha", a radioset (R-173 or R-163-50U), an intercom and hydrojets.



In 1984, the Soviets began production of a diesel-engined variant of the BTR-70, which they called the BTR-80. The Soviets have retrofitted some BTR-70s with several of the improvements incorporated into the BTR-80, including the high-angle-of-fire turret. The twin doors are designed to allow the infantry to disembark while the vehicle is in motion, and allow the infantry inside to exit from one side if the other is receiving fire. The 30mm Cannon variants are capable of engaging most threats effectively besides modern tanks, where they can still cause significant damage to optics, weapons, and important systems. The main gun is not stabilized (neither in the BTR-80 nor the BTR-80A), so accurate fire on the move is limited (only at low speeds), and the rotation mechanism is manually operated. The gunner sits in a roof mounted chair located above the flat floor behind the driver/commander and two passengers, and before the passenger bench. The gunner's station is basic, but uncharacteristically uncramped for a Soviet armored vehicle. The gunner is equipped with both a day time optical sight and an infra red night sight.

The President, among other things, expressed his satisfaction with the work of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum. He noted that one of the discussions dealing with fuel and energy came up with proposals to stabilise the global energy market.



PRESIDENT OF RUSSIA VLADIMIR PUTIN: Thank you for your interest in Russia and the St Petersburg Economic Forum. Speaking of which, we can see that this interest is growing every year.



This year the media coverage of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum is wider than over the previous two years. It is very good news.



We established good rapport with our partners in all areas of production, from all sectors of the economy. Just now, I had a very informative meeting with heads of major global fuel and energy companies.



I think their session is not over yet, though they are probably approaching the end. They are sharing opinions on the state of the global energy industry, coming up with proposals on measures to stabilise the global energy market. I asked them to develop proposals regarding Russia as well.



Generally, we are very pleased with how cooperation with our partners is going. Many of them have had a presence in Russia for years. They have significant assets, which increases capitalisation of companies and helps them get access to financial markets.



Some members of the Russian-speaking audience inquired about further improvement of Russian laws, including fiscal policy. We will discuss it with them in early June.



Coming back to this meeting, I would like to repeat that we are very glad you are interested in working in Russia. I would like to congratulate your colleague, Mr Mikhailov, on the 110th anniversary of ITAR-TASS, the largest news agency in Russia. It is a brand known all over the world. I hope that with Mr Mikhailov at the wheel, the agency will take on a new lease of life -- also in international collaboration.

Antonov State Company (Ukrainian: Державне підприємство "Антонов"), formerly the Antonov Aeronautical Scientific-Technical Complex (Antonov ASTC) (Ukrainian: Авіаційний науково-технічний комплекс імені Антонова, АНТК ім. Антонова), and earlier the Antonov Design Bureau, is a Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing and services company. Antonov's particular expertise is in the fields of very large aeroplanes and aeroplanes using unprepared runways. Antonov (model prefix An-) has built a total of approximately 22,000 aircraft, and thousands of planes are currently operating in the former Soviet Union and the developing countries.[1]

The company was established in 1946 in Novosibirsk as a top-secret Soviet Research and Design Bureau No. 153, headed by Oleg Antonov and specialised in turboprop military transport aircraft. The An-2 biplane is a major achievement of this period with hundreds of aircraft still operated as of 2013.[3] In 1952, the Bureau was relocated to Kiev, a city with rich aviation history where aircraft-manufacturing infrastructure was being restored after the World War II destruction.



First serial aircraft and expansion[edit]

In 1957, the bureau successfully introduced the An-10/An-12 family of mid-range turboprop aeroplanes into mass production (thousands of aircraft were manufactured). The model have been seeing heavy combat and civil use around the globe to the present day, most notably in the Vietnam War, Soviet war in Afghanistan and the Chernobyl disaster relief megaoperation.



In 1959, the bureau began construction of the separate Flight Testing and Improvement Base in suburban Hostomel (now the Antonov Airport).



In 1965, the Antonov An-22 heavy military transport enters serial production, supplementing the An-12 in major military and humanitarian airlifts of the Soviet Union. The model became the first Soviet wide-body aircraft and remains the world's largest turboprop-powered aircraft to date. Antonov designed and presented a nuclear-powered version of the An-22 which, however, never entered flight testing phase.

In 1970s and early 1980s, the company established itself as USSR's main designer of military transport aircraft with dozens of new modifications in development and production. After Oleg Antonov's death in 1984, the company is officially renamed as the Research and Design Bureau named after O.K. Antonov (Russian: Опытно-конструкторское бюро имени О.К. Антонова) while continuing the use of "Kiev Mechanical Plant" alias for some purposes.



Late Soviet-era: superlarge projects and first commercialisation[edit]

In late 1980s, the Antonov Bureau achieved global prominence after introduction of its extra large aeroplanes. The An-124 "Ruslan" (1982) became Soviet Union's serial-produced strategic airlifter. The Bureau enlarged the "Ruslan" design even more for the Soviet space shuttle programme logistics, creating the An-225 "Mriya" in 1989. "Mriya" has since been the world's largest and heaviest aeroplane.

The MSTA-S entered service with the Russian Army in 1989.

MSTA-S comprises a turret mounted on a tracked armoured 6×6 chassis, which has been based on elements of the T-72 and T-80 main battle tanks.

It is manufactured by Uraltransmash of Ekaterinberg, Russia, which also produced a towed version, called MSTA-B, and has developed two new variants, 2S19M with a computerised fire control system and 2S19M1 with a Nato standard 155mm gun.

Uraltransmash is developing an upgraded version of the MSTA-S for the Russian Army. It is estimated that about 150 systems are active in the Russian Army.

2A64 152mm howitzer gun



The howitzer's 152mm gun is the 2A64, manufactured by the Barrikady State Production Association, Volgograd, Russia, which produces a variety of large-calibre artillery armament for the Russian Army and Navy. Elevation is from +68° to -3° with 360° traverse.

"The 152mm 2S19 MSTA-S is a self-propelled howitzer."

There is also a 12.7mm anti-aircraft machine gun that is remotely controlled by the commander. Three smoke grenade dischargers are mounted on each side of the turret.

50 rounds of ammunition for the howitzer gun are carried onboard and 300 cartridges for the machine gun.

MSTA-S howitzer munitions



MSTA-S fires a variety of ammunition - HE-FRAG (high-explosive fragmentation), HE-FRAG with base gas bleed, cluster projectiles with fragmentation submunitions and the Krasnopol laser-guided 152mm projectile. It can also fire the 3RB30 jammer carrying projectiles which set up radio intereference to disrupt enemy communications. These have a range of 22km and can jam frequencies between 1.5MHz to 120MHz to a radius of 700m.

The Krasnopol projectile has been developed by the KBP Instrument Making Design Bureau, Tula, and is designed to defeat armoured vehicles and weapon emplacements. It has inertial mid-course guidance and semi-active laser homing. The laser seeker is produced by LOMO of St Petersburg. The projectile has a range of 3km to 20km, and can hit a target by the first shot without registration. Krasnopol is designated by the 1D15 (1D22) laser designator and has a 1A35 shot synchronisation system.

Operation



Ammunition and gun loading, laying and retargeting are highly automated, allowing maximum firing rate of eight rounds a minute with onboard rounds and six to seven rounds a minute with rounds from the ground. A battery of eight MSTA-S can deliver 3t of projectiles on a target in one minute.

The laying control system is coordinated with the fire control vehicle. All the onboard ammunition is stored in the turret and a mobile reloading tray allows loading and firing at all angles of laying without needing the gun to return to the loading position. A charge loading mechanism is also provided. The system provides automatic gun loading for projectiles and semi-automatic loading for charges. All the gunner has to do is hold the panoramic sight on the laying point. The commander also has control of the firing and laying equipment.

"MSTA-S ammunition and gun loading, laying and retargeting are highly automated."



The 2S19 is powered by a diesel engine with direct injection and mixed supercharge. It is a high-speed, four-cycle, multi-fuel, liquid-cooled engine. The diesel engine has a maximum power of 574kW to 617kW (780hp to 840hp).

The running gear has torsion bar suspension with an adjustable damping system and automatic block mechanism without stabilising spades. Road speed is 60km/h with a range of 500km.

June 14 in Rostov-on-Don will be held XII tractor race "Bison Track Show 2014". In a unique sporting event rural machine compete representatives of leading agricultural enterprises. - We plan to spend the next tractor race in May 2015, - said Sergey Sukhovenko, CEO of "Bison". - Wanted to give participants an opportunity to better prepare themselves and in the meantime to solve organizational issues. And it is not expected that the transfer of the competition for the year would cause such a reaction among the participants and fans. By popular demand we have decided to return to the tradition of the annual pre-harvest tractor tournaments. Bison Track Show kicks off June 14, 2014 at 10.00.



Speedway Bison Track Show 2014 will bring together about three dozen desperate mechanics. Among them - now the Russian team from the Crimea. Fighting between tractor drivers promises to be difficult. Distance in total exceed 10 thousand meters. Mekhanizatorov expect jumps, steep descents and ascents, risky high-speed sections. All races are paired. Each rural pilot will be insured for 1 million rubles.



To allow racing tractors with engine capacity of up to 5 liters. As expected, most of the cars racers perform on the basis of "Belarus", proven in previous competitions. Vehicles equipped with frame and seat belts. Suitability tests for heavy tractors check Gostehnadzora inspectors.



The will to win and fearlessness contestants reward particularly valuable gifts. The main prizes will be modern agricultural tractors.



Tractor races are held in the Rostov region since 2002. Competition is intended to promote the profession of machine, increase the prestige of rural labor and attract young professionals in agriculture of Russia. Over the past time, competition was attended by over 200 people donated 21 tractor drivers, dozens of farm, hundreds of prizes. For dashing tractor maneuvers observed about 180 thousand people, and tens of millions of viewers.

The President was informed about the financial and economic performance of OAO Belaruskali, the current state of affairs on the global market of potash fertilizers, prospects of the company's development, problem issues and ways to resolve them, the fulfillment of previous instructions.



The head of state was told that Belarus had a record high output and export of potash fertilizers in 2014. The country has sold over 4 million tonnes of potash fertilizers this year. The enterprise has signed contracts for July and is developing an action plan for August. The Belarusian side delivers potash fertilizers to Brazil, China, South East Asia, and has been working to increase export to European countries. It views Africa as a very promising partner. As for the tendencies on the global market of potash fertilizers, the demand and prices are on the rise.



The President was also informed about the implementation of investment projects at OAO Belaruskali. In particular, in September 2014 the company intends to commission a chemical factory for the deep processing of chloride-containing minerals. Apart from that, the construction of the Petrikov mining and processing factory is underway.



The head of state was made familiar with the operation scheme at the Krasnoslobodsky mine and looked at how the process was organized. Alexander Lukashenko also visited the facility to produce complex NPK fertilizers. Products of the plant are popular on the market. Virtually all complex fertilizers are exported.

German Money Machine - CNC Lathe Machine Working Video - Numerical control (NC) is the automation of machine tools that are operated by precisely programmed commands encoded on a storage medium, as opposed to controlled manually via hand wheels or levers, or mechanically automated via cams alone. Most NC today is computer numerical control (CNC), in which computers play an integral part of the control.



In modern CNC systems, end-to-end component design is highly automated using computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) programs. The programs produce a computer file that is interpreted to extract the commands needed to operate a particular machine via a post processor, and then loaded into the CNC machines for production. Since any particular component might require the use of a number of different tools -- drills, saws, etc., modern machines often combine multiple tools into a single "cell". In other installations, a number of different machines are used with an external controller and human or robotic operators that move the component from machine to machine. In either case, the series of steps needed to produce any part is highly automated and produces a part that closely matches the original CAD design. A CNC router is a computer controlled cutting machine. These are related to the hand held router. Instead of hand held routing, the tool paths can be controlled via computer numerical control. It is a computer-controlled machine for cutting various hard materials, such as wood, composites, aluminum, steel, plastics, and foams. It is one of many kinds of tools that have CNC variants. A CNC router is very similar in concept to a CNC milling machine.

CNC routers come in many configurations, from small home-style D.I.Y. "desktop" like k2 cnc, to large industrial CNC routers used in sign shops, cabinet making, aerospace and boat-making facilities. Although there are many configurations, most CNC routers have a few specific parts: a dedicated CNC controller, one or more spindle motors, servo motors, Stepper Motors, servo amplifiers, AC inverter drives, linear guides, ball nuts and a workspace table or tables. In addition, CNC routers may have vacuum pumps, with grid table tops or t slot hold down fixtures to hold the parts in place for cutting.



CNC routers are generally available in 3-axis and 5-axis CNC formats. Many Manufacturers offer A and B Axis for full 5 Axis capabilities.





The CNC router is controlled by a computer. Coordinates are uploaded into the machine controller from a separate CAD program. CNC router owners often have two software applications—one program to make designs (CAD) and another to translate those designs into a 'G-Code' program of instructions for the machine (CAM). As with CNC milling machines, CNC routers can be controlled directly by manual programming, and CAD/CAM opens up wider possibilities for contouring, speeding up the programming process and in some cases creating programs whose manual programming would be, if not truly impossible, certainly commercially impractical.



A CNC router typically produces consistent and high-quality work and improves factory productivity. Unlike a jig router, the CNC router can produce a one-off as effectively as repeated identical production. Automation and precision are the key benefits of cnc router tables.



A CNC router can reduce waste, frequency of errors, and the time the finished product takes to get to market. For example, CNC routers can perform the tasks of many carpentry shop machines such as the panel saw, the spindle moulder, and the boring machine. It can also cut mortises and tenons.

When he first entered politics, he was seen as a champion against corruption and was the only deputy to vote against the independence of Belarus from the Soviet Union.

Lukashenko and other Belarusian officials are also the subject of sanctions imposed by the European Union and the United States for alleged human rights violations off and on since 2006.[16][17] Since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, under Lukashenko's leadership, Belarus has largely maintained government control over key industries and eschewed the large-scale privatizations seen in other former Soviet republics.

New Russian Weapons 2014 - Transport Helicopter Mi 38 - The Mil Mi-38 is a transport helicopter designed by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant. Originally intended as a replacement for the Mil Mi-8 and the Mi-17, it is being marketed in both military and civil versions.[1] It flew for the first time on 22 December 2003.[2]



The manufacturer plans to provide the Mi-38 with a new Tranzas "glass cockpit" avionics system and new composite main rotor blades. The helicopter is offered with a choice of either Klimov TV7-117V or Pratt & Whitney Canada PW127/TS turboshaft engines. The second prototype, powered by the PW127TS, made its first flight in December 2010.[3] In 2013, the third prototype has been assembled at the Kazan Helicopter Plant.[4]



The Mil Mi-38 prototypes have already set five records in the E1h class. The second prototype aircraft set an altitude record by reaching 8,620 meters (28,280 feet) without a payload. The second and third records were for climbing speed; the Mi-38 reached a height of 3,000 meters (9,843 feet) in six minutes, then followed this to reach 6,000 meters (19,685 feet) in 10 minutes and 52 seconds. Two further records were altitude records: the first was set at 7,895 meters (25,902 feet) with a 1,000-kg (2,205-lb) payload, the second at 7,020 meters (23,031 feet) with a 2,000-kg (4,409-lb) payload.[5][6]
